{"id":35106,"date":"2021-03-24T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-24T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dutchmetalmaniac.com\/?p=35106"},"modified":"2021-03-23T17:14:03","modified_gmt":"2021-03-23T16:14:03","slug":"interview-nvision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dutchmetalmaniac.com\/2021\/03\/interview-nvision\/","title":{"rendered":"Interview: NVision"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Recently, DutchMetalManiac\u2019s Tim van Velthuysen interviewed NVision&#8217;s drummer Nate.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hey, how are you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good good, just gearing up for a busy rest of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can you tell us something about the history of NVision?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, NVision started out as a solo act consisting of just our singer Alex and he wanted to shift towards a little more rock approach and that\u2019s where I (Nate) came in and started playing drums and then met our guitarist Kevin at our video shoot for our first single as a whole, <em>She Said<\/em>! Phil, our bass player came in a little later and added that missing piece and now we are a driving force!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For people not knowing NVision (yet), how would you describe your music yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are a newer approach to the rock genre with a few mixed herbs and spices in there. Add a little edm and casual romance of hip hop influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When someone doesn&#8217;t know NVision yet and you can choose one of your songs to present yourself, which song would that be?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, our new single <em>The End<\/em> which is available on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, etc. is one of my favorites to play live and it\u2019s a good ice breaker!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='732' height='412' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VkK4zy_2Uhk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What makes NVision unique?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We really live out the messages that are within our music and we are not afraid to stand up for those who need a voice. And anyone who has met us at shows knows we are a group of very humble guys!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any future plans you can already tell us something about?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently working on a few things including a new single that we got the jumpstart on the other day! There&#8217;s always something new in our world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any upcoming gigs for NVision? Maybe coming to The Netherlands?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are about to hit the road again with our roster mates with Blind Anxiety Entertainment and great friends Gandhi\u2019s Gun at the beginning of April! And we&#8217;d absolutely love to go to The Netherlands some day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do you think your life would be without music?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sad haha, music has really been there my entire life through all the heartbreaks and lost and everything, life without music really isn\u2019t possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to young and starting bands?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice and strive to chase the dream and whatever you do regardless of all the trials ahead don\u2019t give up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thanks for your answers!
