I\u2019m doing great, thanks for having me today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can you tell us something about the history of Jet Jaguar?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jet Jaguar was formed in Cancun, Mexico back in 2014, by five 16-17 year old kids just wanting to play some heavy metal. After a couple of years playing local shows and with an EP released, we had the opportunity to represent Mexico at Wacken Open Air\u2019s metal battle in Germany. It was the first time that a Mexican band won the competition. After this achievement, we toured across Europe and Mexico, spent another couple of years performing at important festivals, and then decided that it was time to record our debut album. <em>Endless Nights<\/em> was released last July 2020 under German label Pride &amp; Joy Music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For people not knowing Jet Jaguar (yet), how would you describe your music yourself? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019d say simply metal; because the thing is, we have so far released a demo, an EP, and a full length album, and across these 3 works we have explored speed metal, heavy metal, shredding, hard rock\u2026 and perhaps in the future we\u2019ll continue experimenting, but one thing\u2019s for sure, we\u2019ll always keep it metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When someone doesn\u2019t know Jet Jaguar yet and you can choose one of your songs to present yourself, which song would that be? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally I think I\u2019d show them our song <em>Jet Ranger<\/em>. I think it encapsulates the sound of Jet Jaguar so far. It is both energetic but also very melodic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='732' height='412' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/S9OwIThC7Dw?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What makes Jet Jaguar unique? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re a band that\u2019s always thinking about what will come next. We\u2019re always looking for the next achievement, for new territories to expand our sound, and I think that\u2019s what keep things exciting both for us and for our audience. We don\u2019t like feeling stuck in the same things over and over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any future plans you can already tell us something about? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We began writing new songs in January for what will become our second album, we\u2019re excited about that, but we don\u2019t want to rush things either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any upcoming gigs for Jet Jaguar? Maybe coming to The Netherlands?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would love to go back to The Netherlands, and very surely we\u2019ll return as soon as the pandemic is over. We recently began working with a European agency so it\u2019s just a matter of time and patience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do you think your life would be without music? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Man, I can\u2019t even imagine one single day without music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to young and starting bands? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Never stop practicing, make sure you\u2019re with the right bandmates and have a lot of vision of what you want to accomplish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thanks for your answers!
